We offer free domestic returns on regular priced items purchased from LocalThread.com for store credit within 14 DAYS of your purchase date. All swimwear must be in new, unused condition with sanitary liners in place, free of stains, unwashed and with original hang tags attached.

Original shipping fees are not refunded on the return.

Please wear underwear when first trying-on your purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear or do not meet the above criteria.

Returns not meeting criteria will be discussed with sender.

Final Sale
Items marked "Final Sale" cannot be returned. All items discounted or purchased on sale are final and cannot be returned or exchanged. All shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable. LT does not warranty items purchased from any other retailer.

Faulty Items
For faulty items please email hello@localthreadswim.com and our customer care team will arrange for the faulty goods to be repaired or replaced as soon as possible. This must be done within 24 hours of receiving the faulty garment. Please include a clear photograph to demonstrate the issue.

You will need to return the item in an original condition.

You will be reimbursed for postage in all faulty return circumstances. We will determine the fault upon the return of garment and reserve the right to repair or replace. If the item is not in stock, a full refund can be issued. Items damaged as a result of incorrect garment care or general wear are not considered to be faulty.

Domestic Return Process

  • If your return is eligible, LT will provide a prepaid shipping label within 2 business days via email.
  • Your return must be shipped and postmarked within (7) days from receiving your return authorization number.
  • Include the invoice and clean, unwashed, stain free item(s) with hang tags in the original clear bags. Packaging may be of your choice or original.
  • Attach your prepaid label to the package, and secure with tape.
  • Drop off at the appropriate shipping center.
  • We will email a notice of your store credit once return has been processed
  • Store credit is usually issued within 3 to 5 business days upon receipt of original items.
  • LT is not liable for the loss or damage of garments in return transit.
